Project Timeline

Pacific Soda is currently operating a full-scale test cavern to validate the proof of concept and to produce high quality soda ash for market samples. Basic engineering for the Dry Creek Trona Project is complete and preparations are underway to complete a Feasibility Study, report reserves, and additional support for project financing. Baseline surveys and studies have been completed, and the Bureau of Land Management is underway on an Environmental Impact Statement review pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

Project construction will start following the completion of the NEPA process, and after securing the other required federal, state, and local permits. Commissioning of the first refinery is expected to begin 24 months after the start of construction.

Pacific Soda LLC and Atlantic Soda LLC are Delaware limited liability companies equally co-developing the Dry Creek Trona Project. Both Pacific Soda and Atlantic Soda are 60:40 joint ventures between Sisecam Chemicals USA Inc. (“Sisecam”) and WE Soda Ltd. (“WE Soda”). Sisecam and WE Soda also have a 60:40 common ownership along with a minority public holding of New Resources LCC (“New Resources”) another Delaware limited liability company. New Resources controls 51% of Ciner Wyoming, one of the four major soda ash producers in the Green River Basin. Sisecam is a subsidiary of Sisecam Turkey, a global manufacturing company based in Turkey. We Soda is a United Kingdom holding company, an industrial conglomerate with significant soda ash holdings in the U.S. and in Turkey. Sisecam and WE Soda will market and sell the soda products produced by the Dry Creek Trona Project independently.
